Today the children explored Christmas bows through a little painting activity…
To prepare this activity, gather up a bag of bow then peel the stickers off a few of the bows and stick them on the back side of a few small gift boxes. Â Set out some paint and paper and your ready to go…
The children dipped the bows in the paint and made “bow” prints on their paper…
I noticed some of the children like to really press those bows down hard into the paint and on their paper…
And other children were extra careful to keep their fingers out of the paint…
In the end, the paintings were very bright and colorful with a hint of texture left from the bows. If you don’t have a box, just stick the bow on a block or perhaps they could just stick them on their hands and try a little handprint bow painting…
They all turned out different and quite unique!
Simple and fun to do…
