We spent a week exploring dinosaurs all through out our centers.  As part of the children’s exploration of dinosaurs, they spent lots of time playing in our dinosaur land  which was located right inside our sand table…
To kick off our week of dinosaur discoveries, we read several fun books about dinosaurs and set up a variety of ways to explore dinosaurs inside and outside of our classroom. Â The sand table was a very popular dinosaur center all week long…
The children enjoyed making their own version of dinosaur caves or nests…
For those of you who are wondering, we have logs (cut by my husband into small chunks), half logs (I bought at a pet store last year), sticks (from my back yard), sand, and the dinosaurs. Â The children also brought brushes over to the sand table to brush off the sand from their dinosaurs….
And a few trucks and cars made their way over to dinosaur land at times too…
A wonderful center to promote lots of imaginative play, conversation, and interaction with each other…
